One of the greatest needs that people of faith have is the need to worship freely and without fear of prejudice or discrimination. Prejudice and discrimination are frequently the result of a lack of knowledge or the presence of misinformation. We hope that links on this page can further the sharing of information about different faith traditions and related subjects and so promote understanding and mutual respect.

The Cardinal Newman Chair of Theology offers classes in scripture and religion at Alaska Pacific University. They may be taken for college credit, audit or a community member may sit in at a special Newman Observer rate. The Chair also sponsors the Midsummer’s Light Bible Institute.
